Naples Historial Society grants funds for Folk Music Program
Bristol Valley Theater is happy to announce that they have received a grant from The Naples Historical Society to help cover the costs of the Fall concert and workshops by The Canal Street String Band. The Buffalo based band specializes in songs drawn from our region's musical past, from Erie Canal songs to children's tunes to sea shanties. The October 6 concert is part of Bristol Valley Theater's Fall Folk Fest and tickets are currently onsale.
The band members will also offer 3 folk workshops for the public, in Beginning Guitar, Spoons/Hamboning, and Fiddle. For information or to register for workshops, call 585 374 9032.
