Director's Message

Karin Bowersock
Artistic Director

As we swiffer up the last cobweb from Ghosts Among the Grapevines, BVT officially closes our 2007 season.  It's been terrific fun, from our spring visit from our favorite crooner, Jon Penick, through a spectacular summer season (check out this site's photo album for some great memories of these shows!) through our Fall For the Arts Series, including Native Voices, Stories from the Long House, a great program of Native American Storytelling for children that was part of our BVT for Kids! programming in October.

And we're already busy preparing for 2008. Stay tuned to this site for the announcement of selections for our Spring and Summer shows. And this year, we'll even be seeing you in the winter time as we present Alan Bennett's hilarious Talking Heads as part of the Rochester TheatreFest on Geva Theatre Center's NextStage in February.  Why wait til next summer to share a laugh with favorite BVT actresses Lisa Hokans, Pam Feicht and Kaylin Clinton?

I'm grateful to all of the wonderful artists who shared their talents with BVT audiences this season, to the many businesses and patrons who support our programming with generous gifts of time, dollars and bounty and to you, our audience for a great 2007!  You are the reason we're all here, keeping Live Theater Alive in the Finger Lakes!

See you Soon!
