 Karin Bowersock, Artistic Director, joined BVT in 2004 after many years in New York City.  In New York, Karin co-founded No-Pants Theatre where she produced and directed new works for 13 years. Her work as director, actor and playwright has been seen in New York City at The Culture Project, the NY Fringe Festival, EstroGenius Festival, HERE Arts Center, The Ontological at St. Marks Church, and Reverie Productions, among others.  Regionally she has worked at the Guthrie Theater, Bloomsburg Theater Ensemble, the Lied Center at Kansas University; nationally, on PBS and NPR; and internationally at the Pasinger Fabrik in Munich.


Barbara Allen, Managing Director, is the newest addition to Bristol Valley Theater's Staff. Allen, who recently moved to Naples from Lebanon, Oregon, has eleven years experience with non-profit organizations, including five years as Fundraising and Marketing Director for United Way of Linn County, and six years as Executive Director for the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce.  She has a strong background in fundraising, economic development and volunteer-based program development.   “When I arrived in Naples, I was extremely impressed to find a professional theater, which plays an important role in contributing toward a healthy community,” said Allen, “I look forward to working with individuals and businesses currently invested in the continued success of Bristol Valley Theater as well as broadening its base of support.  I am hopeful that we will have many new successes to celebrate in the future.”


 

 

 

 

 

John Locke, Marketing Consultant, has been involved with Bristol Valley Theater since 1991. Working in advertising, marketing and public relations for over 20 years, John has provided support in those areas to BVT's past four managing directors. John recently completed his Master's degree at State University of New York, Empire State College. As his final project, he traveled to Havana to write, produce, direct and edit a video documentary on US/Cuban relations titled, Strait Talk: Politics, Propaganda and Perceptions Across the Florida Straits. John works at Bristol Valley Theater as a consultant from his company, BadDog Digital Productions. When he's not working with the staff at BVT, he's  working with other BadDog clients, and an adjunct professor teaching graphic design at Empire State College.
