  • You MUST include an email address on your resume to receive an appointment.
  • If you have sent picture and/or resume, someone will EMAIL you with your appointment time in February or early March.
  • Please prepare a 1-2 minute contemporary monologue (preferably comic).  To be considered for the musicals, also prepare 16 bars. Please bring legible music for the accompanist.
  • Dance/movement auditions will be held at the callbacks only. 
  • Please bring additional copies of your picture/resume to the auditions. There may be upt to 5 directors in the room.
  • If you must change your appointment times once assigned, please do so by email if possible. Someone will email back with another appointment.

 

Local Auditions: Local auditions will be held Saturday, March 15, 2008 from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. at the theater. 

 

Auditions will be held at Bristol Valley Theater, 151 South Main Street in Naples. We will be auditioning for all roles. Actors will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Actors should bring picture and resume and prepare a 1-2 minute contemporary monologue, preferably comic. You may also be asked to read from the script.
  • We are particularly seeking actor/singers (particularly women) for the ensemble roles in The Robber Bridegroom. To be considered for these noles you should also prepare (in addition to the monologue) 16 bars of an uptempo song.  Something with a bluegrass or country western flavor is ideal, but any musical theater song that shows your vocal range and rhythm is also fine. Please bring legible music for the accompanist.

Please note: The average rehearsal schedule requires availability from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. for 12 consecutive days, with possible evening hours as well.

 

Children aged 11-17, interested in participating in the Apprentice Program will be seen at a separate audition in May. Please watch the website for further information.
