What is Bristol Valley Theater?
Bristol Valley Theater (BVT) is a unique, not-for-profit, professional, summer stock theater located in Naples, New York.  It offers a wide variety of plays in its 13-week season: dramas, comedies, musicals and a children’s show.  BVT also offers educational programs and serves the community through special performances and workshops in schools, nursing homes, libraries, daycare centers, and other locations.

Who is Our Audience?
The theater draws from Canandaigua, Geneva, Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, Corning, and according to a 2005 economic impact study produced by Keuka College, from as far away as Austrailia, Asia and Europe. Three quarters of our audience is between the ages of 36 and 65 and over half make more than $100,000 in annual income in the legal, medical, educational and business professions.

Why do We Need Your Support?
Ticket sales, season subscriptions, grants and individual donations comprise only two thirds of BVT’s operating budget. We count on the corporate community to help us fulfill our mission to produce and present the only live, professional theatrical entertainment in a 50 mile radius, and provide area youth through our apprentice program with an opportunity to learn more about theater and work in a safe, supervised, professional environment.
 
What is Your Return on Investment?
Your company's name and image is bonded to an award-winning* product that captures the minds and touches the emotions of over 13,000 people each summer.  In return for sponsoring the theater at the Angel Level or above, your company is recognized in 30-second, dedicated radio spots, reaching a significant audience in the Upstate New York area. In addition, our sophisticated audience members will see your ad in the show program and hear your name when the Artistic Director acknowledges your contribution during the welcome speech before each performance. And your company image is enhanced by your association with BVT's Apprentice program, the only educational program of its kind for the young people of this region.

Many of our corporate sponsors tell us that perhaps the most meaningful benefit of all is the knowledge that their contribution makes a powerful difference in this community, bringing joy, culture, and employment to so many. And while there is no way to statistically measure that benefit, being a good corporate citizen has its own rewards.

*Bristol Valley Theater is the winner of the 2004 Cultural Organization Award from the Arts and Cultural Council for Greater Rochester Award, joining past recipients the George Eastman House, the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, the Memorial Art Gallery and Garth Fagan Dance Company. 
In 2002, BVT won the Canandaigua Chamber of Commerce Tourism Award.
